Tanner has this thing with sunflower seeds...he always has them in his mouth during his games. I was trying to get some different pictures of him playing different positions so I grabbed this one of him playing short stop....notice the sunflower seeds coming out of his mouth!! What a shot--we told him he is not allowed to have seeds in his mouth on the field anymore! This game went on forever...another mom and I thought our team had lost by one and it was over when they started a new inning. I was like UGH....come to find out it was tied. Okay, that is great news, IF we can just do one inning. So, our team went out in the field and held them to no runs (they pulled Tanner in to pitch the last out and he threw three strikes and it was over--so I thought!). Our team gets up and they hold us....so they started ANOTHER inning with a runner on 2nd base. Well, they scored a bunch of runs and our team basically fell apart. The other coach was kindof a jerk--he said, okay we'll stop now and if you can score as many runs as we have, we'll call it a tie! WHAT...well, we didn't score any runs and the game that started at 5:15 ended at 7:45 ish. The next game had to quit after 3 innings due to darkness. (they weren't happy). They should have just called it a tie when it ended! Oh well....I'm putting a few other pictures from his Saturday game as well--(blue uniforms). The one of him hitting the ball was his best hit this season--a line drive down the third base line all the way to the fence, he got a double and 2 RBI's. This game was their closest to a win--they are 0-10 but they were ahead for a while in this game. Tanner played catcher (threw a kid out at home to the pitcher), 1st base (made some outs there) and pitcher. PS...please don't be offended by my "proud mom posts". This is a way for me to remember their accomplishments!! I'm sure it can be nauseating!

Not nauseating at all. I use my blog to document things too, who cares what people think, you're doing it for yourself, if they don't like it, they don't have to look at your blog.
I bet you are getting a great tan, sitting through all of the games. I can't believe it went that long! Sounds like your boys are going to keep you busy for the summer too!
Hi Denise! I stole your blog address off of Christina's. :) I hope that's okay. I think a blog is a great way to kind of do a journal/scrapbook thing, so keep on writing and posting pictures. I love being able to keep up with everyone, so I hope you don't mind me checking in. It sounds like that game went forever! But how fun and what great memories...
