This weekend we got to watch Zach's freshman basketball team play in a tournament in Ogden. We drove down and watched two games on Friday night and then back again on Saturday for three games. It was fun, but very strange to be watching basketball again! The only way the high school coach could get the freshman team there to play was to register them as Sophomores. SO....they played against sophomores. They lost all of their games, but it was fun to see their improvements from game to game as the coach would teach and work with them throughout the games. This team was just put together a few weeks ago and has had only one official practice. I think they have a lot of potential and playing up in this tournament was a great experience for them. Zach had fun getting back on the court---but now we all anticipate another day at the ball park next Saturday (this weekend there were no baseball games because of Memorial Day Weekend).

That's exciting! Just combine all the sports and make you crazy. :)
I didn't realize Zach was so close in age to my sister--she'll be a Junior next year.
What are you going to do with yourself when your kids are all gone and there's no more sports? Probably breath again and have time to finish a thought. There's nothing like watching your kids play though. So much fun! When I'm complaining to my mom about being too busy running my kids around all over she always tells me that being involved with us was the most fun!
I bet Zach learned a lot from playing up. That's probably the best way for the coach to teach them.
