Eagle Scout

Tanner finally had his Eagle Board of Review last night and passed with flying colors! He is such a great kid and we are so proud of him. Earning your Eagle is no small feat. It takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice, especially while pursuing other interests (ie hockey and baseball). He actually finished his project in August and got the last of his merit badges at the Court of Honor in September....we had to wait for him to finish serving in a leadership position for 6 months (that started on June 26th). Then, he had to write his Life Statement which took a little time and get all the signatures and then schedule the Board of Review. He could have had this done in the middle of January, but oh well! We are hoping to have his Eagle Court of Honor on Sunday, March 25th. We have to put it off a week or so because we will be out of town for baseball two weeks in March. Congratulations, Tanner! The first Eagle Scout on the Butler side, second on the Johnson side.
