For the past four years we have had the opportunity to go down to SLC for the 1st Presidency Devotional at the Conference Center. There is a lottery drawing for tickets so with ours and mom's email addresses we try every year for tickets. We got them the first two years but then this year and last we didn't. So, last year we went down early and were first in the stand by line. This year, I was lucky to find six tickets on ksl.com. We pack lunches (dinner) and drive down early to enjoy listening to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir warm up and get our seats. Then after the devotional, we walk around Temple Square and enjoy the lights. It is always cold, so we don't always spend a lot of time outside. We were thinking--this could have been our last time together down there--it all depends on when Zach leaves on his mission. Yikes, it's not that far away!!
