Happy Birthday, Tanner!

Tanner is 15 today--I can't believe it! I know we all say that time goes so fast, but 15, really? Tanner is such a great kid, we love him so much. He is the most easy going kid around here--when asked what he wanted for his birthday a cake or a pie--he didn't care! He was influenced by his dad and asked for his dad's favorite, Lemon Pour Cake. Tanner is a Freshman this year--but reminds us regularly that he SHOULD be a Sophomore. (we held Tanner back from starting Kindergarten so he wouldn't be the youngest). He now thinks I need to take him down to the DMV to get his Learner's Permit--YIKES! Zach at least waited five months before he got his. Tanner is a great kid and we are so proud of him. He loves baseball and said just yesterday that he can't wait for Freshman Baseball to start (that is in March--ha). Tanner is a great friend, very helpful around that house and will do just about anything we ask him to do. He is finishing up his Eagle award. He is going to stain the boxes we made to finish up his project. He needs to get one more letter of recommendation and write his little blurb about himself. He will continue serving 4 more months as the Teacher's Quorum 1st Counselor to be eligible to receive his Eagle (has to serve for 6 months as a Life Scout). So--we are looking at an Eagle Court of Honor over Christmas vacation!! We are so proud of all of his hard work and dedication. We love you, Tanner!!
