Happy Birthday, Tanner!

Today is Tanner's 12th birthday. I can't believe he is 12 already!! He wanted to go miniature golfing as a family for his birthday so after we had his choice of Burritoes for dinner, we went miniature golfing. It was fun--the weather was perfect and Greg won!! The kids had a great time--Brynn even had a hole in one (Tanner had two and Greg had one). Tanner loves the Cardinals and got a Cardinals Majestic Dugout jacket. He was so excited. This weekend will be special for Tanner. He will be ordained a Deacon on Sunday. Both sets of grandparents, Great Grandma Dee and Diana, Chad and family will all be here. I forgot to do this for Brynn on her birthday but here are twelve things about Tanner:

1. Tanner loves baseball--especially the St. Louis Cardinals

2. He is a great helper around the house

3. He is an awesome hockey player

4. Tanner is really calm unless you make him mad--then watch out!

5. He is not a very picky eater

6. Tanner enjoys camping, hiking and fishing

7. When Tanner laughs, you can't help but laugh, too!

8. He is a great pitcher

9. He loves being in middle school and is doing awesome

10. He loves to tease Kaden and Brynn (or anyone!)

11. He is thinking about quitting hockey this year and playing basketball instead

12. Tanner wants to go to BYU (way to go, Tanner!!)

We think Tanner is such a great kid!! We love him so much and are so proud of him. We hope you had a great birthday, Tanner!! We love you!

You always get the coolest stuff for your kids' birthdays. I can't believe how old Tanner is, crazy! You always do neat things as a family together. I miss you!

I can't believe he's 12 already! He was just a baby when we got married. :) Guess you know how many years we're going on. I posted on my comments, but I'll do yours too--with the track we're on, the kids go back to school for 3 weeks and then they're off for 3 weeks. I like it--it gives us a 2nd summer and they get their nervousness of a new class and grade over with and then they hit hard until November.

Happy Birthday Tanner. Way to stick with the Cards! I still like them a ton, even though it's not real popular to root for a division rival.
