Today all four kids went back to school. Zach is a Freshman. Tanner is in Sixth Grade. Kaden is in Fourth Grade and Brynn is in First Grade. We worried about getting back to a normal bedtime routine because around here we stay up late and sleep in late during the summer. Everyone managed to get up and get ready on time this morning. I didn't think it would be a hard year until I realized that my oldest is a Freshman and my youngest is in First Grade. I think I'm going to miss those early years. I enjoy the stage we are in--we enjoy the ages of the kids now and the fun things that we can do, but it's bittersweet when you know there are no more little ones!! It is a milestone for us to have our kids in school all day--no more hassles with sitters while I work or go to class. It should be a great year!

I'm glad you are going to enjoy this year. It really is such a bittersweet thing. It kind of brought tears to my eyes, thinking of no little ones. I guess I just can't imagine that stage and I'm already having a break down about it just being me and Drew this year. We have our big day on Monday. I loved the pictures of your kids!
The kids look so cute! I can't believe how fast they are growing. It is bittersweet--there are good things and bad things about it. I used to wish my kids would get older so we could do this or that and now I want it to slow down. When do you start school?
Denise, your kids have literally grown up overnight! Especially the older 2, they don't look anything like they used to! I know it is bittersweet to you but RIGHT now in my life it feels like when all of my kids will be in school, would just be "SWEET"! Miss you!
Good looking group you guys have there. Sounds like fun; not so sure Jake is that excited for all-day kindergarten. I know Krysta isn't ready for that yet--(coming Monday for us.)
