Kaden was baptized today. It was a great day--he was excited that so many people were able to be there. It was fun to have his best buddy Hunter come from Fruit Heights (and he was also getting baptized today at 5 pm). His baseball coach, Dan and his kids were also there to make it a special day. Lots of family members made the trip too: Grandma Butler (we missed Grandpa Butler--he was out of town), Great Aunt Julene, Grandma and Grandpa Johnson, Katie & Avery, Randy, Alyssa & Breya, Shannon, Thomas, Kiley, Dallin & Elise, and James, Ethan & Josh. Friends and neighbors from Providence included Josh, Kimberlee & Chloee Adams, Dan, Jayna, Elise & Tyler Turner, Primary Teacher Sister Pavithran, and Brother Israelsen. A fun thing about his baptism today was that our friends, the Dushku's, also had a son baptized in our Stake today. They are also from Sacramento so the Chapel was full of people from Sacramento. It made it fun for the Johnsons to visit with them as well. Kaden was the last one to be baptized (5 kids total--3 from our ward). After the Baptism and Confirmation, we went to our church building for a little lunch. It was fun....to top the day off....Kaden got to watch Greg play in a softball tournament! He had a fun day with family and friends.
