Adjusting

School is in full swing and I think we have all adjusted well to our new morning routine--much different than "sleeping in until you want to wake up" during the summer!  We start around here at 4:45 am when I head to the gym and then Greg goes around 5:45 (we pass on our way).  I get ready for the day and begin waking the kids up.  It is a little different this year with Brynn having to leave at 7 with Kaden so that means I'm doing a little more "helping" in the morning.  We all gather at 6:50 for scriptures and prayer and then Kaden and Brynn are out the door at 7 (I know it is short, but it is getting done and that is what matters now!).  Tanner then gets ready and leaves by 7:30.  It is different to have all of the kids gone by 7:30--I get a lot done in the mornings--laundry started, dishes done, house picked up and then off to work if I have appointments by 9.

We are also adjusting to Zach being gone.  He has been gone for 77 days today!  That doesn't sound as long as it feels!  ha  He is having an amazing time and enjoying all of his experiences.  We all love and miss him so much, but we are also being blessed.  It is such a great experience having a missionary out in the field.  I never thought I'd say that!  It was hard and there are days that are still hard.  Okay--so I probably shed a few tears every day, ha, but many times those are tears of happiness.  We are so proud of him and enjoy his emails and watching him grow in so many ways. (you can read his emails on the blog we keep for him listed to the right)

I was thinking today as I ran a few errands--I am so happy!  Life is good.  Life is so good.  I am so grateful to be able to recognize all of the blessings that I have in my life that make it so good!  I have a great husband, awesome kids, a fun and rewarding job and friends and family who make my life that much better.  I am very blessed.
