Last week the Oakland A's had their last games of the season against the Texas Rangers. If they won all three games, they would be the division champs. If they won, one, they would earn a wild card position. Well---they won all three! When they won the final game, Greg immediately got online to buy some tickets (Oakland is close so a doable trip for us). He got five tickets and then realized that the way they did home field advantage had changed. Instead of starting the series in Oakland and having their first game on Saturday, they played the third game on Tuesday in Oakland. Oh well--luckily the boys had a day off of school on Tuesday and a shortened day on Monday. They worked hard to get off work, get assignments done early and packed up and headed west on Sunday after the morning session of General Conference. They had a GREAT time. They brought Zach's friend, Tanner Richardson, along. They stayed in Roseville with Shannon and family. They all had a great time and said the game on Tuesday was awesome. They sat around a rough crowd that kept them laughing. The A's won the game and then won again last night so the series is tied 2-2, final game tonight. Go A's!! We are so glad they had this opportunity to attend a playoff game and spend some more time together. Brynn and I had our own fun here at home! We went to dinner with my parents and to an Aggie Volleyball game. We stayed busy with work, school, parent teacher conferences, playing with friends, Activity day and Brynn even had a birthday party! We are all home now and back to the normal routine of being busy busy busy!
