Jr. Mustang Basketball

This year both Kaden and Brynn are playing Basketball. They are both having a great time. It has been fun to watch Brynn improve from game to game. The funniest thing is while she is playing, she runs behind whoever has the ball and calls their name for them to pass it to her. We had to stop that quick--we taught her to get down to the basket and get open and THEN call for the pass! Silly girl! She was so excited to make a basket at her game on Saturday--perfect since Grandma and Grandpa Butler were there to watch. She has lots of little friends from school on her team and is having a great time. Kaden is playing on a large team. He is playing with kids from his school, but none from Providence. He got to choose a friend to play with and chose a friend from Nibley. They are mostly Nibley and Millville kids. He doesn't think his coaches really know what they are doing (he wanted Zach and his friend to coach them--the team didn't have a coach for a few days). They don't win much but Kaden is playing great defense and has made a few baskets himself. We are halfway through the season--three weeks down, three more to go!
