Junior Prom 2011

Zach asked Lacey to the Prom this year by having her Grandma drive her somewhere and then have Lacey take her seat belt off to get something for her Grandma in the back seat. Then they were very conveniently pulled over by Greg's Sheriff office buddy, Troy. Greg wrote a ticket out very cleverly with Lacey's information and then asked her to go to Prom with Zach. She answered him by hanging WANTED signs with his picture, nicknames, last seen, wanted for, etc. They decorated our front door with crime tape, wanted signs (up the street too) and hand cuffs attached to a little note saying she would go with him.

They went in a large group with about 10 other couples. They spent the day 4 wheeling in the mountains (and it was WET and MUDDY!). They had lunch and got cleaned up (of course that didn't take Zach too long--). Zach went to pick up Lacey and I tagged along to get some pictures. It is hard to be the parents of the boy--you miss out on the pictures when he picks up his date! So--at Lacey's house--her parents were there, her Grandma (who happens to be in our ward) and her great aunt! Just what Zach wanted, ha ha! After they left, Lacey's mom and I drove out to the barn where the couples were having dinner (catered by Iron Gate Grill in Logan) to take a few pictures.
