Kaden is 11 today! Wow, I can't believe how big my kids are getting. I will never forget the day Kaden was born. I was waiting for a room to free up so they could induce labor. He wasn't due until June 28th but I can't deliver big babies so they were taking him 2 weeks early. I had lined up babysitters for the bigger boys (Zach started swimming lessons that day and they both had a Tball game that night). It was a crazy day--but one that changed my life forever. Kaden is such a great kid!! He inspires me so much as he faces challenges on a daily basis and does it with courage! He had a tough decision to make recently--to play baseball or quit. Kaden LOVES baseball more than life itself. He realized this season, though, that it is just too hard for him to see the ball. He worries about getting hit by the pitch because he can't see it to move out of the way if it is going to hit him (and in his league--that could happen :-). He can't see it out in the field after it is hit to make the play. He has enjoyed going to practices with his team and hanging out in the dugout and helping "coach". Thank you coach for being understanding and still allowing Kaden to be a part of the team. Kaden recently finished elementary school and will be going to 6th grade at Spring Creek Middle School in the fall. I thought I had more time before that would happen!!

6. He loves to play video games (you should see him play Guitar Hero! WOW!)
7. Thanks to his big brothers, he is learning to love music, too!
8. He loves baseball and basketball (oh hockey, too)
9. Kaden is very sensitive
10. He doesn't like to eat anything healthy (we are working on that!)
11. He still gives me hugs goodnight!!

HEY!! I had no idea today was the day! My own 11-year-old boy didn't quite convey the news.. go figure.. or we would of brought him something festive! We'll have to celebrate with him later. We've sure loved having him around lately.. he's such a great kid.. Happy Birthday Kaden!
Happy Birthday Kaden! I can't believe he is that old. He was in my 1st primary class I taught in that ward. I miss you guys.
