Summer's Here!
We are so happy that school is out!! The kids all finished with a half day on Thursday, June 4th. We are looking forward to baseball games, baseball tournaments, swimming lessons, scout camp, baseball camp, EFY, hikes (the Tetons for Greg and Tanner), family reunions, late nights and sleeping in. We welcome the more relaxed routine around here!! Our baseball teams are all underway and the boys are having fun--Zach's Legion 'A' team started Friday--the Blacksmith Fork Trappers. We are going to Boise this weekend for his tournament. Tanner's super league team, 12U Logan Grizz has a few more weeks left. He has really had fun playing with them and getting to know a new bunch of kids. His rec team, Providence Phillies, is struggling a bit, but Tanner is a good sport (where there are a few kids that have never played baseball before on the team). Tanner has hit four home runs over the fence this season and hopes to have a few more. Kaden's team, Providence Cubs, is doing well. Kaden has even pitched a few games! He is having a great time. Greg is having fun coaching--it's been awhile since his schedule would allow him to be free in the evenings during the summer months.I finished my comps on Friday--what a LONG 24 hours. I wrote 35 pages and will study them and meet with my committe on Friday, June 19th in the morning to defend my answers. I will find out if I pass or have to fix a few things. Either way--it will be so nice to be done!! I've worried about these for two years.
Greg is having problems with his ankle again. He has been seeing a chiropractor and that seems to be helping. He is hoping they can find the problem and get things fixed before he hikes the Tetons again in August.
I haven't been very good at updating the blog--I'll do my best to be better.
