My Comps

I passed!!! I had my Defense on Friday, June 19th at 9 am. I was pretty nervous, mostly of the unknown. I spent the night before going over what I had written and being familiar with all the questions. When I got to my Defense--there sat all three members of my committee. I know two of them pretty well--one not so well. They just went through all 12 questions--some they said that I had done well and they didn't have more questions and then others they asked me to add or clarify some things. Then after about an hour, they had me step out for 10-15 minutes while they decided if I passed or had to fix things. It was not even 5 minutes when they had me come back in and they said I passed and I didn't have to rewrite or fix anything! WHAT A RELIEF! I was so happy. I seriously worried about my comps for the whole 2 years I was in the program. Now I just have some assignments to finish for my practicum and I will be done. Yeah!
