Tanner's Hat Trick

Today Tanner had a hockey game against the other Cache Valley team (there are two teams in his age group). They beat them two weeks ago 8-5 and then today they won 4-3. Dad came and took some videos. In this game, since both teams have the same dark blue jerseys, it was our turn to wear the old white ones. Tanner is wearing the #10 jersey. A hat trick in hockey is when you score three goals. Hockey is such a fun sport--they make it look so easy (I could NEVER do it!!). Last week Greg took Tanner with him to play in the over 30 hockey league--Tanner did awesome and even scored a goal against an old Aggie Goalie!! Way to go, Tanner!

This was the first face off of the game making it 1-0

This goal makes it 2-1

This is the game winning shot

Ice skating in general stresses me OUT! Closest I ever got to the sport was being a "Hockey Cheerleader" (we were the slacker squad who couldn't do round-offs!)

Wow! great job. I don't think I could even skate on ice let alone have a stick in my hand and push a puck around. Looks like a scary sport to me. Congratulations to Tanner!
