Happy Birthday Denise!

Denise hit the big "four-zero" today and so I am following tradition by listing 40 things that you may or may not know about Denise. I love you and hope that you have a GREAT day!

1. Denise was born January 2, 1969
2. She has 3 sisters
3. She attended Ricks College for 3 years (without getting engaged still holds the school record!)
4. Graduated from BYU (Elementary Education)
5. Is the most organized person that you will ever meet
6. Is the mother of 4 little ninos (2 of the 4 kids are now taller than she is!)
7. She ran a half-marathon this past August!
8. She LOVES to talk on the phone!
9. Slams doors when she is VERY VERY angry!
10. She is currently working on her Masters degree at USU (only one more semester to go)
11. Went to high school in Gallup, New Mexico.
12. Grew up on the east coast…mostly in Maryland
13. Loves BYU football
14. Was born in Oakland, California.
15. Loves watching baseball (not just the boys…she actually enjoys watching the MLB playoffs)
16. Graduated from BYU the day before she got married (a pretty busy week)
17. She was a swimmer…swam competitively when she lived in Maryland
18. Was engaged to some other dude (that I don’t like) before she went out with me!
19. Just went snowmobiling for the first time
20. Has been “happily” married for 16 years (17 years in April)
21. She is a math wizard
22. Did I mention that she likes to talk?
23. Dreamed of being the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys
24. Is currently working at USU as a grad student
25. Enjoys “Blogging”
26. Hates to do yard work…dooh!
27. Loves spending time with her kids
28. She is very frugal with money and will only buy things for the kids
29. She is very supportive of her kids and husband
30. Just turned 40, but looks like she is in her 20's (still looking fantastic in her birthday suit!:)
31. Has excellent delegation skills (ask me and/or the kids)
32. She actually loves (it took a while) our dog Chewie!
33. Usually plays referee/peacemaker when Zach and Greg argue!
34. She is a very protective mother…get the H#$% out of her way if you’re messing with her babies!
35. She has a very loving husband, who she loves with all of her heart!
36. Denise pays the bills, does the taxes and manages the family finances
37. She is a very selfless person...she looks after other's needs before her own
38. Is a very good cook
39. Loves life…Denise is rarely in a bad mood and is always fun to be around
40. Hates having a birthday a week after Christmas!
