Zach's Basketball

We finally have a few pictures of Zach playing basketball-thanks to my Dad. Zach played a game in Preston on Tuesday night (about 30 miles North of here). Rather than drive two cars, my parents rode along with us. It was fun--Dad took some videos of Zach and then sent us some still shots from the videos. He has another game tomorrow night in Pocatello. I'll take the camera, but I worry about the pictures turning out without using a flash. I don't want to distract the team with my flash--hmmm.
Yesterday Greg and I had a fun day. We went to a training for Law Enforcement at BYU--it was on Emotional Survival. Cops are always learning ways to deal with bad guys, but this one focused primarily on the effects of the job on their personal life. They invited spouses to attend. It was great information, fun spending the day together and a bonus to be back on BYU campus. Greg's sister is also in Law Enforcement and attended with us. It was a fun day--but also required some scheduling for the kids. One of my YW who is home from college came over early in the morning to get Brynn and Kaden off to school. We woke Zach and Tanner up early and then had a neighbor help out after school while Zach was at basketball and Tanner at hockey.
We are slowly but surely finishing up our Christmas shopping and preparations. The kids' last day of school for the break is tomorrow and then we will enjoy a nice vacation before school starts up again on January 5th.

What great pictures! Does your Dad get his without a flash? The ones I try to take at b-ball games at South Cache turn out HORRIBLE! You'll have to let me know your secrets :)

Sometimes the FD does debriefings and psychology stuff with the wives too, always fun and beneficial (and an excuse for a date!).

Have a Merry Christmas!!!
