We are in Provo this weekend for Tanner's Hockey Tournament. It started yesterday, Friday, so he came down with a teammate because his game was at 1 pm and I don't get out of class until 2:30 pm. The first game they played Provo and won 8-0. Tanner made three goals (a hat trick) and then their second game was today at 10:30 am. They played Ogden and tied 0-0!! It was a great game but VERY VERY intense (too intense for me, I had to stand up and walk around!). Tanner played great in the second game too--he was very aggressive and had about four shots on goal, just couldn't get one in. It was very frustrating! After that game, we found out that if Ogden beat Provo by 9 points and had 0 penalties they would advance to the championship game. If they had one penalty, we would advance. So, Tanner and I went over to watch the game and Ogden played a different game!! They knew they couldn't have any penalties, so they played very reserved and made 11 goals--and 0 penalties!! So, Tanner's season is over. He was very upset--but is starting to feel better! It's sad that hockey is over, it's such a fun sport to watch, but it will also free up our Wednesdays and Saturdays for a little while. No pictures to add to this because when I pulled the camera out, I noticed there was no memory card--it's at home in the computer! Oh well!
