Spring?

Okay, it is March 31st--the first day of Spring was March 20th right? Is anyone out there enjoying spring weather?? (you folks in Arizona don't count!) We woke up this morning to snow on the ground. I heard every single moan from the family as they saw or heard that it had snowed. We have had our share of snow this year and we are all very anxious for it to warm up. The whole "March comes in like a lamb and out like a lion" thing didn't even pan out this year---it came in like a lion (big snow storm) and out like a lion! We are getting ripped off! Maybe if we just hang on a little longer, it will make the beautiful Cache Valley summer all the more beautiful! (and the kids haven't had Spring Break yet so maybe it will warm up for that April 10-14).

The boys are all signed up for baseball and look forward to that starting (although it's not until May/June). They did catch a few of the MLB opening games---I thought Tanner was going to fake sick to stay home and take in a few games today!! Baseball has to be the favorite around here, I think.

Greg has not been back to work yet since his injury (a month ago tomorrow, wow!). He goes in and does some office work here and there and has been helping the boys with their job (doing yard maintenance at an apartment complex). He is getting around so much better now and was given permission to walk more and not use the boot (not sure that he ever DID use the boot, but now it's official, he can use a brace that fits in his shoe instead!). It's been really hard on him having this injury--but we know he is being blessed as it gets better and better every day.

Only three more weeks and my first year of Grad school will be done! WAHOO! I found out last week that my last class will now be April 24th rather than May 2nd. That is great news, except for the fact that I have a huge project due that day and now it's due a week earlier! I have a lot to do in the meantime with completing two online classes, my resource file and an intervention plan! (plus a test!). This summer I'll take 6 credits--4 in one week and 2 in another. They are workshops. It will be so nice to get them done at one time and not over the course of the summer.

That's a quick update from here--oh BIG NEWS! For those of you who know that our dishwasher broke back in June...well, we bought a new one today! (and a new microwave--ours bit the dust about a month or so ago). We have seriously been living in the "olden" days around here thawing things out the long way and washing dishes by hand. We are all excited for them to arrive later this week!
