Christmas this year was a pretty significant one. We realized that it was our last Christmas with just the six of us. Zach will be gone for the next two, then Tanner will miss the next two and then Kaden will miss the following two! Wow, by that time, we are sure to have a daughter in law or two and who knows, maybe a grand baby! Time is sure flying by and it is pretty sad!! We had a nice Christmas this year. We spent Christmas Eve at the Butlers with the Warrens. It is always fun to get the cousins together and play games and visit. We had a nice little program where Zach read Luke 2 and Megan played the piano while we sang songs that went along with the story. After that, Grandpa played the piano while we sang our favorite Christmas songs. (all the while, Hannah, was dancing and entertaining the rest of us--she was very excited for Christmas!!). Then it was time for the "party"! Mom had cookies, chips, dips and punch to munch on before we headed home. Santa always comes while we are at my parents house and leaves a present of pajamas for all the kids. They opened their jammies, put them on and we visited for a little bit before they were tired and went to bed. We woke up at 7 am and put the breakfast casserole in the oven. We went downstairs to see what Santa left (this time the oldest went first) and opened gifts. It was a nice day. We went back over to the Butlers for dinner that afternoon and enjoyed more visiting and being together. We decided to drive down to Springville to visit with Greg's family that night. Chris and Ginny and kids were in town from South Carolina and Shannon, Tom and their kids were in town from California. We spent three days with them and then headed back home to enjoy the rest of the vacation!
