I can't believe Tanner is 16 today---time sure does fly by! He got his license today and drove to school--crazy! Isn't he cute in this picture--he used to play with those legos for hours. I haven't really kept this up--but my friend says she likes when I write things about the kids on their birthdays. So--since Tanner is 16, I need to write 16 things about him! (Don't tell the others because I didn't do this for Kaden or Brynn this year.....ssshh!)
1. Tanner is the most easy going kid I know!!
2. Tanner will "usually" (let's just say--much better than the other kids) do whatever I ask him to do (mow the lawn, clean the bathroom, etc) without complaining.
3. He is an awesome baseball player (okay so I am biased).
4. He plays hockey and I love watching him do that, too (although he has taken a few years off)
5. Tanner loves the St. Louis Cardinals
6. He likes to play baseball on Xbox with his Dad.
7. He has hiked the Tetons with Greg
8. He earned his Eagle in January 2012
9. He played in a baseball tournament in Omaha, NE a few years ago
10. Tanner thanks me for dinner---every night!
11. He is a great drawer I mean artist ha ha
12. He is really sensitive to the "underdog"
13. He will be ordained a Priest on Sunday
14. Tanner has transitioned to Mountain Crest really easily thanks to his upperclassman friends (he has lots of friends!)
15. Tanner likes to make smoothies, shakes and other treats (he's a pretty good cook)
16. He is a great kid!!
We are so proud of Tanner and look forward to enjoying his high school years. They just go by so fast!! He is a fun kid and we are so happy he is in our family! Love you, Tan!
