December really flies by!! I can't believe Christmas is in 3 days!! We had every intention of being ready "early" this year and I guess in many ways, we are. We have wrapped more presents at this point than we have in the past (I typically stay up late on Christmas Eve catching up with wrapping). We are finished with shopping, teacher gifts, neighbor treats, Christmas cards, etc. I don't feel stressed about anything which is SO nice!! The kids finished school today for the break so now we can focus on some fun family time and relaxing.
We don't have much snow this year and there isn't any in the forecast--darn! It is even RAINY which is no fun at all. The past few years we have done some sledding over the break--it's not looking very promising this year. I always hope for a White Christmas---it is just so beautiful to wake up on Christmas morning to fresh fallen snow--maybe next year.
We hope you all enjoy your holidays with family and friends. It is such a special time of year--to reflect, be grateful and be with family. We are grateful for our Savior and this special time to remember his Birth and the many blessings in our lives. Merry Christmas!!
