Halloween

Halloween was really different this year! First of all, Kaden and Brynn didn't have school because they had Parent Teacher Conferences Thursday and Friday. Their school had a carnival on Halloween. I had to help out at one of the games from 4:15 - 5:15. During that time, Kaden and Brynn finished up their tickets and we were ready to head home! It was perfect! We had a quick dinner and then the neighbors came trick or treating to our house and offered to take them along. Zach and his friend went to a "party" for the evening and Tanner caught up with the others to trick or treat around the neighborhood...Greg, of course, was working a late shift so I had the house (and the trick or treaters) to myself. I was actually preparing for the class I had to teach the next morning and learned real quick that I couldn't get much done with all the trick or treaters. When the kids got home, they were done. They wanted to go out to Grandma and Grandpa's so we loaded up and went trick or treating at their house. They all had a fun time! I don't have a picture of Tanner in his costume--he was the manager of the Cardinals (with his baseball pants and dug out jacket). Zach wore a cow costume to school and then a gorilla costume to his party. Everyone had a fun night. Kaden could not decide what to be, but at the last minute went with Scream and Brynn was a witch.

On Saturday, Greg and I took Kaden and Brynn to the Aggie vs. Hawaii football game. We had such a fun time. Tanner spent the day with a friend and Zach had other plans so just the four of us went. We went just before half time (because I had to teach that morning). The weather was perfect! It was warm and sunny--the perfect fall day. To top it off, the Aggies WON!

Brynn loved watching the game (or the cheerleaders) through the binoculars

Tomorrow morning I head off to Dallas for the NAEYC Conference. I had a lot to do to get ready to go (papers to finish, presentations, class to teach and assignments to have done before I leave). It will be so nice to sit on the plane and relax. Greg has taken the rest of the week off so everything will be fine here at home.

What a fun time to take your kids to the game. Caleb has been begging to go to a game sometime--looks like fun, maybe I should take him. Your kids look great in their Halloween costumes.

Sounds like you had a good Halloween! Your pictures are cute...Kaylee was a witch also and has the same tights as Brynn. If I only I weren't so lazy right now, I might actually upload my pictures and do a post. Oh Well! I'm not feeling it tonight!

Have a fun trip to Dallas. I hope to get some well deserved R&R...
