We welcomed in the New Year with the three kids at different parties and Greg and I home alone. We kept it simple--watched a movie and just relaxed. We saved our party goodies for New Year's Day and Bowl games!
The kids started school on January 2nd this year---so lame! I wish they would have had the rest of that week off (it was a Thursday??) and started on Monday the 6th. I didn't go back to work until the 6th so I spent the 2nd and 3rd catching up on a little more rest :-) I turned 45 on the 2nd, seriously, 45??? That seems so old, but I know I'm really only in my early 20's/college days. I seriously feel like I haven't aged since then....until I want to stay up late or I do too much in a day! ha I'm not closing in on 50 yet so I'm good!
Tanner has started working out and his therapy is down to one time per week. This is great news. He is really hoping he will be back to his old normal self when Baseball starts, but he knows that might not be realistic. He is happy with where he is at right now--try outs are about a month away and then the first baseball trip is in March--yea, baseball season is coming!!
Elder Johnson is still doing amazing and loving his experiences in New Zealand--we all love Sundays when we get our emails from him. It is the best thing having a missionary out--seriously, I never thought I would say that, but it is truly a blessing to our family.
Brynn recently started her third term at school. She likes her new teachers and the new kids that are in her classes. She is also playing Volleyball again this year-- practicing on Thursdays and playing games on Saturdays. It's always nice to have a new start during the year. The kids are all doing a great job in school this year. They all have lots of friends and are making time for school work and hanging out.
We are all doing well, plugging along with work and school and the other things that keep us busy. Life is good--
