A Triple Play

Last Saturday we traveled to Salt Lake to watch the Freshman baseball team play against Judge Memorial. The Mustangs won the first game 5-1 and the second game 6-5 (in the 8th inning). It was so fun to watch some baseball with some warm weather (low 60's). We even got some sun on our faces. Zach had two good games--he played 1st base in the first game. In the second game he pitched four innings and played 1st base. While he was pitching, the other team had the bases loaded and no outs. He was pretty stressed out. The kid that was up to bat bunted the ball-- in the air--Zach ran up and caught it (while the players on base were already running to their next base)...he got the first out--threw it to third and they got the player running home out and then the third base men threw it to first and got the player at first out as he was trying to run back to 1st. It was so awesome! A lot of their games have been canceled and post poned. We are all hoping for warmer weather so we can get outside and enjoy some baseball. Their next game is scheduled for Monday--our fingers are crossed that they will get to play!

Tanner has been practicing with the Logan Grizzlies 12U team. He is supposed to play in a tournament this weekend--we'll have to see how the weather is. He will also be having try outs for his local rec team (the Majors in Providence) next week.

Greg will be coaching Kaden's team this summer. He'll be playing in Providence in the Minor league. He is excited to have Greg coach. It should be a fun summer!

Brynn is still waiting for soccer to start! I think it would be starting this weekend if we didn't have SNOW on the ground in some areas. She knows who her coach is going to be--one of her friend's dads will be coaching her this year.
