It's Been a Long Time!!

Wow, I can't believe how long it's been since I've updated the blog! Not a lot has changed...Zach is still playing basketball, Tanner is still playing Hockey, Kaden is still studying away for the Geography Bowl on Tuesday and Brynn is still--well, being the little sister! Greg spent the majority of his time this month painting the bathroom, prepping the floor and tiling in the bathroom. He did such a great job. I'll add some pictures.

Zach's basketball season will end on Monday, February 23rd. They are playing in a tournament in SL. They lost last Monday and then won on Wednesday. They will play in the consolation bracket on Monday afternoon. He is really getting ready for the season to be over--he is so anxious to start winter workouts for baseball. Baseball tryouts are March 5th so we'll go from one sport to another!

Hockey has been getting so much fun--Tanner's team is really catching on to checking and they have been playing awesome. He only has a few more weeks left--the closing social is on March 18th. He is also dying to get out and throw the ball around for baseball.

Kaden's Geography Bowl team will be competing in the South County Bowl on Tuesday night. It will be such a relief when it is all over. He has seven study sessions a week and we are in charge of one. I have been taking him to school 45 minutes early three days a week. We hope they will do a great job on Tuesday.

Brynn has her 1st Grade Patriotic Program on Thursday. She even has a little part that she has been practicing. She is excited for all of us to come and watch her--I'm sure she'll ham it up even when she tells us she is "shy".

I have been balancing my new job/practicum along with my other job and school. I started working as an Early Intervention Vision Consultant with USDB on January 26th. I'm working with 6 little babies and 2 preschoolers. It is a little scary, but I already love those babies! They are the sweetest little miracle babies. I know I'm going to love the job.

As I mentioned above, Greg has been devoting all of his "off" time to the bathroom. It is so awesome to have it done. I don't think he knows what to do with his down time now! He is playing on an adult hockey league and loves that--as well as his weekly Volleyball nights.

Sounds like you are busy as ever. I feel like we are always running in different directions. Caleb has a patriotic program on Thursday too and he has a little part and is petrified! I will be doing my surgery prep so I won't be able to see him:(

Busy life!

Thanks for your comments to my wife's post on my blog. Glad to see those that know me best still think that I might be able to pull this off.
